1 AWilliam Ellis Macdonaldugust 2010 Becky(Macdonald) and I are very pleased to announce the safe arrival of our wee boy, William Charles Ellis.  William entered the world at  11.15 pm on 1st August 2010 tipping the scales at  3760 g (or 8lbs 4ozs in the old measurement). This was exactly the date predicted by computer modelling 40 weeks earlier which shows how well these things can be project managed by two chemical engineers.  I am guessing that this may well be where all the predictability is going to end.
Becky and William are doing very well, albeit very tired.  Please note, if you do a lot of cycling and your baby’s head is greater than the 97 percentile there are going to be some issues.  I have a new appreciation of how strong Becky is. If anyone ever says that kidney stones are like child birth, they are very wrong, I’d choose kidney stones any day.
Take care everyone.
Greg, Becky , and William
